Cuenca's famous mercado de flores (flower market). Amazingly, this photo doesn't show many flowers, but trust me, they are there, as this street corner is packed with fresh flowers for sale under the umbrellas seven days a week.
On average, there is some sort of procession that winds through the downtown streets once a week. Sometimes church related, sometimes political, and here, military.
Tanks are not a daily sight. This was part of the Festivals of Cuenca.
